We announce the death of Robert W. Wright of Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 81. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Zakrzewski (Robert William Wright Sr. A) and Bob; and his brother-in-law Raymond Parker. He is survived by: his children, William Wright, Darlene Hess (Jason) and Elizabeth Wright; his grandchildren, Ellie Hess, Winnie Hess and Elijah Wright; his friends, Frank Bonerigo and Deacon Ron Wackerlin; his wife Diana Wright; and his sisters, Joan Parker, Louise O'Donnell, Cindy Zakrzewski, Donna Cotini, Sandra Kresen and Barbara Mork. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mueller Funeral Home (800 1st Ave, Ottawa, IL 61350). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
