She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Damyen and Mabel Damyen (Schafer); her husband Edward M. Beard; her sons, Mark and Steven Beard; her grandsons, Jason and John Beard; and her sister-in-law Thresa Damyen.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Beard (Gail) of Ottawa, Marty Beard of Ottawa, Tom Beard of Ottawa, Brenda Herrera (Rick) of Ottawa, David Beard of Ottawa and Brian Beard (Carol) of Oswego; and her siblings, Alan Damyen, Roger Damyen (Judi) and Jolene Wilson (Jerry). She is also survived by 40 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
