Thomas P. Walsh Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas P. Walsh (Ottawa, Illinois), who passed away on November 19, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Thomas P. Walsh to show support.

Though Thomas may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Thomas touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Walsh and Louise Walsh (Rude); and his brother Bill Walsh. He is survived by: his wife Peg; and his children, Greg Walsh of Chicago, Kathleen Walsh Sutton of Indianapolis, IN, Tom Walsh (Mabel) of Baltimore, MD and Pat Walsh (Tonya) of Ottawa. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Columba Church (122 W Washington St, Ottawa, IL 61350).
