William Grobe Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on July 19, 2021, at the age of 92, William Grobe of Ottawa, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Grobe and Bess Grobe (Modisett); his sons, Richard and Eugene Grobe; his grandson Clifford Charles Grobe; his former wife Mary Louise Grobe; and his brother Edward Grobe.

He is survived by: his former wife Mary Louise Einhaus; his wife Zelpha Scott of Ottawa; his children, Michael Grobe (Kelly) of Ottawa, Jeff Grobe (Julie) of Ottawa and Jennifer Carretto (Jeff) of Ottawa; his daughter-in-law Holly Grobe of Ottawa; his grandchildren, Chad Grobe, Kristin Burnside, Kyle Grobe, Emily Tyson, Kayla Moore, Zachary Carretto, Patrick Grobe, Katie Husted, Jacob Grobe and Jordan Grobe; his great grandchildren, Mara, Maddox, Karsyn, Makenna, Cooper, Lyla, Payton and Reece; his sister Velma Swartz of Ottawa; his nephew Rick Scott of Ottawa; and his niece Pam Wanken of Ottawa.
