It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yvonne Serby of Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on June 6, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Yvonne Serby to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Welch and Margaret Welch (Lemler); her husband Clare Serby; her brothers, Harry and Gerald Welch; her son-in-law William St. Arnold; and her grandson Kyle Jones.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Ross (William) of Estero, FL, Jill Brokaw (Robert) of Hernando, MS and Kay Smith of Ottawa; her grandchildren, Robert Jones, Grant Brokaw, Valerie Contreras, Marcus Polancic and Jackson Smith; and her sister Maryhelen Ruffu of California. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
