With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Andrew J. Marsala (Palatine, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 5, 2026 at the age of 83. In the vast expanse of eternity, Andrew shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Andrew farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Marsala and Catherine Pocaro; and the mother of his children Karen Lee Green. He is survived by: his wife Gretchen Schmalz; his children, Jillian Marsala and Jordan Marsala; his stepchildren, Evan, Madelyn and Mya; his sister Roseann Ebert; and his grandchildren, Jack and Edie Guberman.
