He was predeceased by : his parents, Anna Mae and Andrew (Josephine). He is survived by : his wife Margaret; his daughter Karen Fayen (James); his granddaughter Katherine Fayen; and his siblings, Barbara Marela (late Richard), James Gibbs (Judy) and John Gibbs (Sharon).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Orphans of the Storm Animal Shelter, 2200 Riverwoods Rd, Deerfield, IL 60015.
