It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Ray (Palatine, Illinois), who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred Schick and Charlotte Schick; and her granddaughter Emma Ray. She is survived by : her husband Doug Ray; her sons, Brad Ray (Jacqui) and Scott Ray (Sara); her grandchildren, Campbell, Connor, Evan, Avery and Olivia Ray; and her brother Bob Schick (Jan). She is also survived by her family and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home (185 E Northwest Hwy, Palatine, IL 60067). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Annunciation (22333 W Erhart Rd, Mundelein, IL 60060).
