She was predeceased by: her husband Gregory P. Canell; her parents, Graziano Vendola and Maria Vendola; and her siblings, John Vendola, Michael Vendola (Marcella), Rose Sauklis (John), Joe Vendola (Shirley) and Mary Gallo (Frank).
She is survived by: her daughters, Toni Canell and Joann Canell Stark (Richard); and her grandsons, Gregory and Grant Voegtle. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home (185 E Northwest Hwy, Palatine, IL 60067). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery (2905 Thatcher Ave, River Grove, IL 60171).
