Denis left this world on December 12, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kearin and Carol Kearin; and her siblings, Jennifer Gimm and John Kearin. She is survived by: her husband John Doody; her children, Michael Doody (Liv) and Shannon Doody (Jeremiah); her siblings, Jackie Burns, Candice Strunk and Tom Kearin; her grandsons, Milo and Hudson Doody; and her sister-in-law Suzanne (John).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home (185 E Northwest Hwy, Palatine, IL 60067). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location.
