She was predeceased by: her parents, William Joseph and Mary Lee Carroll; her siblings, Thomas Carroll, William Carroll, John Carroll and Mary Ann Belchick; and her husband Robert "Dutch" Gerald Schultz.

She is survived by: her brother James Carroll; her children, Heidi (Jim), Kurt (Michelle) and Brigit (Jeremy); and her grandchildren, Ethan, Greta, Nathan, Noah, Owen, Abby and Carson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home (201 N Northwest Hwy, Palatine, IL 60067). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas of Villanova Parish (1201 E Anderson Dr, Palatine, IL 60074).
