With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James Gabala (Palatine, Illinois), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact James had on those he encountered along his journey. Though James may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Gabala and Ann Gabala. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peg"; his sister Joyce Tackett; his sister-in-law Patricia Ragone (Richard); and his godmother Alice Stapel.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Holy Family Church (2515 W Palatine Rd, Inverness, IL 60067). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
