He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Cleland and Adele Cleland (Koch); his brother Tom Cleland; and his parents-in-law, Vincent and Josephine Petrie.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Cleland (Petrie); his children, Katie Muran (Joe), Tom Cleland (Katie), John Cleland (Tess Polivka) and Joanna Richardville (Scott); his grandchildren, Anna, Joey, Johnny, Nora, Jack, Barrett and Cameron; his sisters, Peggy Dziadula (David), Casey Tobin and Jane McCourt (late Sean); and his sister-in-law Camille Cleland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
