He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Sr. and Eugenia; his wife Dina Elida Shapiama-Prado; and his siblings, Magda Tejda, Mirtha and Johnny.
He is survived by: his children, Tirza (David Takacs), Deborah Maggiore (Philip), Joel (Sylvia), Jese (Connie) and David (Lori); his grandchildren, Michael (Heather), Mercedes (Mitch Gasparitis), Josh, Dina, Jessica, Samantha, Emily, Jese, Logan, Frankie Salvaggie, Marianna and Nico; his great grandchildren, Jade, Anakin, Giovanni, Gianna, Leo, Izabella, Killian and Kohen; and his siblings, Carlos (Toni), Francisco (Teresa), Maria and Nelly.
