He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Oksana; his children, Donna Dobrowolsky, MD, Vera Dobrowolsky Fitzgerald, Ksenia Moroko (Jerry) and Yuri Dobrowolsky (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Alexander Lopez (Hope), Krystyna Lopez (Aaron Riedford), Maxim Moroko, Cassandra Fitzgerald, Victoria Fitzgerald and Matthew Moroko; and his sister Julie Palencia.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic Church (116 E Illinois Ave, Palatine, IL 60067). A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery (300 E Army Trail Rd, Bloomingdale, IL 60108).
