Provedence M. Huebener Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Provedence M. Huebener of Palatine, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 4, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Provedence departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Provedence may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Provedence leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bernhard Huebener; and her siblings, Annette Govea and John Chiappetta. She is survived by: her children, Ursula Fitzhugh and Frank Huebener; her grandchildren, Alyssa, Jimmie and Emily; and her siblings, Mary Coss (late Jim) and Frank Chiappetta (Barbara).
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home (185 E Northwest Hwy, Palatine, IL 60067). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Theresa Catholic Church (455 N Benton St, Palatine, IL 60067). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Theresa Church (455 N Benton St, Palatine, IL 60067). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 11:30 PM at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
