He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip LaVeau and Muriel LaVeau; his wife Rosemarie LaVeau; and his son Robert LaVeau. He is survived by: his sons, Richard LaVeau (Cathy) and Randall LaVeau (Julie); his grandchildren, Carlie Terchin (Michael), Richard LaVeau (Julia), Kristine Flower (Donald) and Rachel LaVeau; and his great grandchildren, Connor Terchin and Camille Rosemarie Flower. He is also survived by his family, friends, neighbors.
