He is survived by: his wife Cynthia; his children, Adrienne Stewart (Jeffrey), Katherine Francis (Scott) and David Stackwell (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Zachary, Jacob, Ava and Olivia; his siblings, Catherine Bland (Louis), Diane Vlcek (William), Katlyn Abraham and David Abraham (Amy); his niece Nicole St (Robert); and his nephews, Michael Abraham and Alexander Thessen (Ashtyn).

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Matz Mt. Prospect Funeral Chapel, Inc. (410 E Rand Rd, Mt Prospect, IL 60056). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Matz Mt Prospect Funeral Chapel (410 E Rand Rd, Mt Prospect, IL 60056). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Theresa Catholic Church (455 N Benton St, Palatine, IL 60067).
