He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Maag and Mary Maag; and his son Bobby Maag. He is survived by: his brothers, John, Tom and Jimmy; his wife Mildred Maag; his daughters, Kathleen Paquette (Marc) and Nicole O'Keefe (James); and his grandchildren, Janine Wordette (Samantha), John Paquette, Hannah O'Keefe, Mary O'Keefe and Sarah O'Keefe.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church (133 S Roselle Rd, Palatine, IL 60067). A burial will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at the Elmwood Cemetery (2905 N Thatcher Ave, River Grove, IL 60171).
