He is survived by: his wife Barbara Heinzel; his brother Robert Heinzel (Elizabeth); his sibling's children, Jeffery Heinzel (Ruslana), Megan Heinzel O'Donnell (Dan) and Kevin Heinzel; his great-nephews, Gavin Heinzel, Nicholas and Christopher; and his great-niece Grace O'Donnell.

Due to the covid-19 pandemic, all services will be held privately.
