In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Thomas had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Thomas may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Schuman and Mildred Schuman; his wife Mary Ellen; his sons, Jeff and Dan (Cyndi); and his grandchildren, Joseph, Noah and Sammy.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home (185 E Northwest Hwy, Palatine, IL 60067). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Theresa Catholic Church (455 N Benton St, Palatine, IL 60067). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery (1185 W Algonquin Rd, Palatine, IL 60067).
