The memory of Eric Neil Pierson (Palestine, Illinois), who passed away on June 17, 2025 at the age of 55, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the vast expanse of eternity, Eric Neil shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Eric Neil farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his mother Diana Pierson. He is survived by: his father Larry Pierson of Palestine; and his brother Chris (Heather) of Seabrook, Texas. He is also survived by his aunts, uncle, in-laws, and adoring nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Goodwine Funeral Home (501 W Lamotte St, Palestine, IL 62451). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, CaringBridge, The Children's Lunchbox at Beans Café, or any other charity of your choice.
