He is survived by: his children, Robert Simms, Emma Malin of Palestine, IL, Ruth Ann and Russell Meskimen of Robinson, IL; his grandchildren, Jabali Thomas Simms, Kendall Grace Meskimen, Parker Thomas Meskimen and Bryonna Dyleen Meskimen; and his sister Laura Brashear of Terre Haute, IN. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
