He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Knoblett and Vera Knoblett (Allen); his in-laws, Guy and Lois Jourdan; his son Scott Knoblett; his granddaughter Emma Eckert; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Jourdan, Eugene Reinbold and Nancy Knoblett.
He is survived by: his wife Jeannette; his children, Shari, Jim Eckert of Palestine, Todd Knoblett of Palestine, Vicki and Allen Wood of Mt. Carmel, IL; his grandchildren, Allen "A. K.", Kate Wood of Mt. Carmel, IL, Ethan Knoblett of Fayetteville, NC, Seth Wood of Bainbridge, PA, Cole, Jessica Knoblett of Robinson, Susannah Eckert, Kenneth Pappageorge of Robinson, Joseph Eckert, Samuel Eckert and Jacob Eckert of Palestine; his great grandchildren, Tobias Eckert, Lily Wood and Callie Knoblett; his siblings, Ruth Reinbold of Normal, IL and Donald Knoblett of Robinson, IL; and his sister-in-law Donna Jourdan of Hinckley, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Palestine Now Program or the Oak Grove Cemetery Association, with memorial available at the cemetery.
