He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde B. Mitchell and Osa Mitchell (Henderson); and his siblings, Aileen Napp, Donna Lee Miles, Barbara Galey, June Doolittle and Robert Morris.
He is survived by: his daughter Kim Mitchell-Orsi of Chicago, IL; his grandchildren, Evon Orsi and Hope Orsi; and his great grandchildren, Nico and Luca Orsi. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
