We bid farewell to Robert Bowen (Palestine, Illinois), born in Edwards, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 13, 2025 at the age of 89. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his daughter Julie Bowen. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Pam Robbins, Peggy Deckard, Penny Deckard and Gary Ramsey. He is also survived by 11 step-grandchildren and 28 step-great-grandchildren.
You could often find him there, playing bridge with friends and sharing a laugh or a thoughtful story until COVID paused those simple gatherings.
