With sadness, we share the passing of Laura Virginia Ross of Palmyra, Illinois. Laura, born on December 28, 1927, passed away on September 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Killebrew and Leatha Killebrew (Shores); her husband Loren Ross; her daughter Jean Marie; and her sister Vivian Kempson.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda; her son-in-law Nick Kottis of Naperville; her son Roger; her daughter-in-law Brenda Ross of Palmyra; her grandchildren, Brandi Paluska (Andrew), Andrew Ross, Lauren Kottis (Lee Fink), Christine Kottis and Rebecca Pettit (Bradley); and her great grandchildren, Owen of Eli, AJ, Landon, Ashlyn, Lana, Jace and Lionel.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stults - Neece Funeral Home (201 N Main St, Palmyra, IL 62674). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
