We announce the death of Jacqueline Callanan (Palos Heights, Illinois), who passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Irish Walsh (Patrick "Paddy") and Winifred "Winnie" Walsh; her husband Joe Callanan; and her siblings, Joe, Patrick, Mae (Kole) and Nancy (Eicher).
She is survived by: her children, Mary Pat Touhy (Ed), Joe Callanan (Caryn O'Brien) and Dan Callanan (Niki Bavelis); her grandchildren, Patrick (Connor), Mariclare (Michael), Moira, Tripp (Jenna), Tommy, Chloe, Sophia, Danny, Alexia (Jack), George and Taso; and her great grandchildren, Liam, Maggie, Casey, Maeve and Charlie. She is also survived by loving in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Patrick Dineen Scholarship Fund which provides tuition assistance and financial aid for students attending the Shrine Catholic Schools (https://shrineschools.com), or your favorite charity in Jackie's memory or that a Mass be offered in her honor.
