He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Kinnane of County Kilkenny and Martin Kinnane of County Clare; and his sister Mary Anne Davies. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his children, Colleen, Jacqueline, Brian (Jennifer) and Daniel (Marcy); his grandchildren, Samantha, Brittany, Matthew, Shaughn, Martin, Declan, Caitlin, Connor and Claire; and his great grandchild Lydia.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Blake-Lamb Funeral Home (4727 W 103rd St, Oak Lawn, IL 60453). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. Alexander Catholic Church (7025 W 126th St, Palos Heights, IL 60463).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation or the Chicago Police Chaplains Ministry.
