She was predeceased by: her husband Christopher M. Ahern; her son Mark; and her great-grandparents, Tammy (Billy), Olivia, Emma (Charlie), Declan (Liam), Nora (Henry), Alina, Sofija (Patrick), Erin, Madeline (Shane), Maeve, Lucy (Henry), Jordan and Riley.
She is survived by: her children, Michael (Therese), Daniel (Jill), Maggie Gaffney (Daniel) and Mary Colaizzi (Michael); and her grandchildren, Katie, Jenny, Kevin, Ryan, Adam, Lauren, Genevieve, Meghan, Moira, Sean, Colleen, Joseph, Brian and Timothy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kerry Funeral Home (7020 W 127th St, Palos Heights, IL 60463). A prayer will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Saint Alexander Church (7025 W 126th St, Palos Heights, IL 60463). A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:15 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (6001 W 111th St, Alsip, IL 60803).
