It is with sadness that the passing of Robert P. Martin (Palos Heights, Illinois) is shared. Robert, born on November 10, 1954, passed away on September 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Robert will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Robert by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Robert is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Robert’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert A. Martin and Geraldine Martin. He is survived by: his wife Michelle "Shelley" Martin; and his sons, Christopher and Erik.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Book Hotel Kerry Funeral Home (7020 W 127th St, Palos Heights, IL 60463). A prayer will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Book Hotel Saint Alexander Church (7025 W 126th St, Palos Heights, IL 60463).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Robert's name to A Leg to Stand On (https://www.altso.org) or to PAWS Tinley Park (https://pawstinleypark.org), in honor of his lifelong love of animals.
