He is survived by: his wife Emily (Benko); his stepson Robbie Georgias; his parents, Michael Giertuga and Elizabeth Giertuga; his sister Kristina "Tina"; his brother-in-law Lee Skeens; his brother Michael Giertuga; his sister-in-law Heather Giertuga; and his in-laws, Alice and James Benko. He is also survived by many extended family members, friends.
