He was predeceased by : his wife Catherine; his parents, Bechara Basil and Malake Basil; and his sisters, Evelyn Haddad (late James), Helen Basil, Elizabeth Bahling (late John) and Sally Shababy (late Joseph).

He is survived by : his siblings, Rose Marie Kimmey (late William) and Fond. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
