He was predeceased by: his wife Germaine. He is survived by: his girlfriend Lauretta; his grandchildren, Michelle Krol (Gary), Lorna Sieger (Adam), Maxine, Natalie Smith (Chase) and Nolan; and his children, Laurie O'Donnell (Dennis), Courtney, Lindsey, Julie Donnelly, Ryan, Shane, Daniel Podpora Jr. (Mary), Danielle and Danny.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home & Cremation Services (11028 SW Hwy, Palos Hills, IL 60465). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:15 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (6001 W 111th St, Alsip, IL 60803).
