He was predeceased by: his wife Roberta F.; his brother Harold Jr. Bennett; and his parents, Harold Bennett and Ruth Mae Bennett. He is survived by: his children, Diane Bradford (Matt), Cathy Ruchaj (John) and Andrew Bennett (Kim); his grandchildren, Tim Bradford (Jillian), Andrew Jr., Shannon and Chelsea; his sister Sharon Bennett; his nieces and nephews, Terry Bayt (Dan), Patty Kent (Jim), Deanna Adams, Sallye Anne Pack (Ron), Kinsey Adams and Randy Adams; and his sister-in-law Patricia Adams.

Visitation was held on Monday, February 16th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 17th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home & Cremation Services (11028 SW Hwy, Palos Hills, IL 60465). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 17th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 17th 2026 at 11:15 AM at the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (6001 W 111th St, Alsip, IL 60803).

In lieu of flowers contributions to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
