He was predeceased by: his friend Jim Churms (Karen). He is survived by: his children, Anthony Koehler (Sarah), Brian Koehler (Kim), Allison Messer (Matt) and Amanda Dropkowski (Hank); his granddaughter Madison; his siblings, Lori Scolum (George), Lynn Kaspar (John), Rita Riley (Mike), Cheryl Golbeck (Mark), Scott Schaal (Cairn) and Karen Virgin; and his friend Geno Lammel (Sharon). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home (11028 SW Hwy, Palos Hills, IL 60465). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
