He is survived by: his wife Vida; his children, Jimmy Las Cola, Iggy Jr. Las Cola (Sandy), Mariam Damiano (Tom) and Melissa Strociek (Shawn); his grandchildren, Mary, Christopher, Brittany, Trevor, Lisa, Joey, Michael, Scotty, Tom, Vincent, Josh, Serenity, Jessica and Jeff; his brother James Sr. Las Cola (Amy); his nephew James Jr. Las Cola; his niece Teresa Sarna; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Katheren, James III, Lydia, Elizabeth, Alexandra, Samantha and Nicholas; and his friend Tom O'Connor.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Palos Gaidas Funeral Home (11028 SW Hwy, Palos Hills, IL 60465). A Mass was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 10621 S Kedvale Ave, Oak Lawn, IL 60453.
