Jeanette M. Galatte Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeanette M. Galatte of Palos Hills, Illinois, who passed away on September 11, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emily Notorleva and Pasquale Notorleva; her sister Christine Zwartz (Hank); and her in-laws, Helen and Joseph Galatte.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gail Howard (James) of Barrington, Lynne Budig (Dan) of LaPorte, IN and Lisa Kuban (Tim) of Hickory Hills; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Piriczky (Matthew) of Barrington, IL, Kristina Meyer (Douglas) of Barrington, IL, Melissa Bullen (Thomas) of Barrington, IL, Nicholas Howard (Janelle) of Barrington, IL, Allison Howard (Hans Pallan) of Chicago, IL, William, Michael, Andrew Budig of LaPorte, IN, Matthew and Jeanette Kuban of Hickory Hills, IL. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (8245 W 111th St, Palos Hills, IL 60465). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery (16201 104th Ave, Orland Park, IL 60467).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jan's memory to the American Cancer Society.
