He is survived by : his children, Debra Finkelmeyer (Michael), Karen Bellino, Janice Chrapla (Steven) and Gary (Lisa); his grandchildren, Paul, Nicole, Angela, Michael, Natalie, Katie, Ashley and Jeffrey; his great grandchildren, Alexandre, Abigail, Andie, Atticus, Anthony and Grayson; and his girlfriend Lucy Weidner.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 26th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home & Cremation Services (11028 SW Hwy, Palos Hills, IL 60465). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fairmount Willow Hills Memorial Park (9100 Archer Ave, Willow Springs, IL 60480).
