He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Dean and Mildred Dean (Randall). He is survived by: his sons, Larry Dean (Gwen Brooks) of Taylorville, IL and Steve Dean (Dawn) of Pana, IL; his grandchildren, Alex Dean of Pana, IL, Sierra Dean of Pana, IL and Gunnar Dean (Jaydn Adams) of Pana, IL; his great grandchild Marlie Rauch; and his sister Violet "Susie" Mathes of Pana, IL..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McCracken-Dean Funeral Home (308 E 2nd St, Pana, IL 62557). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
