She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth L. Koontz and Alma W. Koontz (Humphrey); her grandsons, Adam Bertin and Vernon Hall; and her sister Carolyn Boyster.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Chaney (Colette) of Pana, IL and Michelle Lebon (Brian) of Pana, IL; her grandchildren, Amy Bertin, Chelsy Elliott (Nick), Brittany Cox (Derek), Zachary Lebon and Tanner Lebon (Aubrey); her great grandchildren, Kylee, Brock, Haden, Rylee, Hunter, Grace, Gaibe and Caysin; and her siblings, Julia Lebon of Pana, IL, David Koontz (Sonja) of Pana, IL and Glenda Kuhn (Wayne) of Pana, IL.. She is also survived by 3 great-great grandchildren.
Memorials in Janet's honor may be made to the Christian County Animal Control and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
