Joyce Griffin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2025, at the age of 93, Joyce Griffin of Pana, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kirk Weddle and Amelia "Millie" Weddle (Alde); her children, Deborah Horton and Joey Shoraga; her grandsons, Adam Bertin and Jacob Cox; her great grandchildren, Gabby and Cashlynn Cox; and her brother Gene Weddle.
She is survived by: her children, Annette McKinney (Leonard), Babette Rhodes (Jeff), Colette Chaney (Larry) and Shawn Shoraga (Lisa Dagen); her grandchildren, Amy Bertin, Chelsy Elliott (Nick) and Haylee Taylor; her great grandchildren, Marissa Shoraga, Mason Shoraga, Kylee Bertin, Rylee Bertin, Haden Stark, Hunter Stark, Grace Elliott, Gaibe Elliott and Kegan England; her sister-in-law Sue Weddle; and her pet Bo.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the McCracken-Dean Funeral Home (308 E 2nd St, Pana, IL 62557). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials in Joyce's honor may be made to the June Cheney Dog Park, Pana and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
