He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Davis and Verna Davis; his daughter Kristi Davis Schulte (Rick) of Kincaid; and his siblings, Linda Edwards, Paulette Tipsword and Jimmy Davis.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Dalton Davis (Julia), Brandon Davis of Assumption, Sarah Cutler (Noah) of Kincaid, Rodney "Glenn" Curry (Brittany) and Christina Garcia (Luis); his wife Helen Mink; his children, Larry Davis II (Kelli) of Assumption and Marsha Leach (Bobby) of North Carolina; and his brothers, David and Richard Davis. He is also survived by five grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
