It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roselyn Jones of Pana, Illinois, who passed away on October 16, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Kruse and Effie Kruse (Mattix); her husband Kenneth L. "Barney" Jones; her daughter Cynthia "Sis" Jones-Davidson; her great grandchild Ethan Sloan; and her siblings, Raymond Kruse, Thelma Swisher, Darlene Winter, Eugene Kruse, Jill Jones and Dorothy Green.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine A. "Cathy" Jones (Jim Merrifield) of Pana, IL, Kenneth L. "Kenny" Jones (Michelle) of Purdy, MO and Scott R. Jones of Pana, IL; her stepson Shawn Jones (Karen) of Decatur, IL; her grandchildren, Stacey Sobberi, Lisa Shuster (Brent), Lesley Wessel (Steve), Boomer Neece (Jennifer), Dana Owens, Frank Sloan, Rich Sloan (Allie), Chuck Sloan, Tracie Schaefer (Matt), Kendra Combs (A. C.), Chad Jones, Brandon Jones (Emily) and Amber Underwood (Tyler); her stepgrandchildren, Jordan Terry (Monica), Jacob Terry and Macy Brandstetter (Wes); and her son-in-law Mike Davidson. She is also survived by 51 great grandchildren with 2 on the way; 4 step great grandchildren with 1 on the way; 17 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the McCracken-Dean Funeral Home (308 E 2nd St, Pana, IL 62557). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials in Rosie's honor may be made to the family and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
