She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Mitchell and Nina Mitchell (Witt); her husband Donald "Don" Baker; her former husband James Musser; her children, James "Corky" Musser and Tina Mitchell; her grandson Cory Scribner; and her siblings, Sharon Haythorne and Leo Mitchell.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Musser (Denise) of Nokomis, IL and Claudette Musser-Borders of Decatur, IL; and her siblings, Lewis Mitchell (Debbie) of Tower Hill, IL and Susanna Hocq (Michael) of Pana, IL.. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren.
Memorials in Shirley's honor may be made to Prairie Rose Health Care Center and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
