With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilfred Beyers of Pana, Illinois, who passed away on October 2, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred C. Beyers, Sr. and Marguerite F. Beyers (Adams); his wife Myrna Speagle of Patrick's Church; his grandson Bailey Beyers; and his siblings, Cyril Beyers, Mary Holthaus, Lyle Beyers, Robert Beyers, Harley Beyers and Irene Beyers.
He is survived by: his children, Kent Beyers (Dora) of Earlville, IL, Brad Beyers of Fairbury, IL, Denise Beyers of Whitestown, IN, Lori McDonald (Kevin) of Tucson, AZ, Curt Beyers of Nashville, TN, Kevin Beyers, Wes Beyers of Churdan, IA and Nicole Blodgett (Brian); his caregiver Zetta Wolf; his grandchildren, Chris Beyers (Kristin), Jenny Beyers (Ryan), Brandon Beyers (Hayley), Liz Beyers, Bryce Beyers (Laine), Ali Foxen (Dustin), Clint Culberson (Casey), Lindsey Argraves (Justin), Dr. Andrew McDonald (Emily), Jared McDonald, Austin Beyers (Jennifer), Cameron Beyers, Jenna Beyers (Cullen), Kyla Beyers, Adalyn Blodgett, Reagan Blodgett, Lia Blodgett, Taylor Jo Blodgett, Allen Jr., Ron, Ann and Kelly Butz; his great grandchildren, Gus and Charlotte Beyers; his grandchildren, Andie Walradth, Bryson, Preston Foxen, Birdie, Beck Culberson, Llewyn Buerke, Isabel, Theo, Foster, Finn Sweeney, Blakely, Brooks Argraves, McKinley, Quincy McDonald, Emersyn, Eliana, Everly Beyers, Wren, Noah Beyers, Hannah, Trey, Angel Butz, Logan, Brayden Leppert and Connor Clark; his siblings, Don Beyers of Pana, IL, Bill Beyers (Kathy) of Pana, IL, Mike Beyers (Bev) of Pana, IL, Pat Holthaus of Pana, IL and Bette Funneman of Pana, IL; and his sister-in-law Gertie Beyers. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McCracken-Dean Funeral Home (308 E 2nd St, Pana, IL 62557). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (303 S Locust St, Pana, IL 62557).
Memorials in Joe's honor may be made to Sacred Heart School or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
