Ardenia Lankster Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ardenia Lankster of Paris, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 31, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Coleman Rogers and Julia Rogers (Brown); her husband James Calvin Lankster; her son Wallace Shockley, Jr.; her stepson James E. Lankster; and her son-in-law Lyle Gleckler.

She is survived by: her children, Roger Shockley (Sandra) of Monticello, Rick Shockley (Becky) of Bradenton, Betty Lou Shockley Gleckler of Paris and Jeanne Lankster (Scott Kerrick) of Paris; her stepchildren, T. Leonard Lankster (Carla) of Edwardsville, V. Roxanne Lankster of Champaign and Rhanea Kerr (Ken) of Mercer, Pennsylvania; her grandsons, Clint Gleckler of Danville and Brett Gleckler of Fayetteville, Georgia; and her great grandchild Isabelle Gleckler of Fayetteville.
