He was predeceased by: his parents, William Pigg and Goldie Mae Pigg (McDaniel); his son Daniel Allen Pigg; his grandson William Elisha Pigg; and his siblings, Elizabeth Pigg, Myrtle Erwin, Marjorie Colter, Richard, Walt, Paul and William "Jake" Pigg.
He is survived by: his children, William Pigg (Janis) of Payson and Cheryl R. Hanks (Mike) of Paris; his grandchildren, Everett Elsberry, Emily Dill, Gabriel Hernandez and Lane Pigg; and his great grandchildren, Briley Mattos, Jacob Hernandez, Lucas Hernandez, Micah Hernandez, Ellie Mae Dill and Greyson Pigg.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Franklin Cemetery.
For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Faith in Action of Edgar County.
