Dorothy H. Evans Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy H. Evans of Paris, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 12, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Dorothy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Dorothy farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude A. Ashley, and Ethel M. Ashley, Sr. (Bales); her husband James P. Evans; her son Jim Evans; her grandson Jacob Evans; and her great grandchild Angel Evans.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Jordan (Don) of Paris, Tim Evans (Mary Anne) of Taylorville, Jayne Wells (Les) of Paris and Tom Evans (Tina) of Mattoon, Illinois. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
