He was predeceased by: his mother Leona Hess (Ballard); his wife Connie Kay Pearman; and his son-in-law Ricky DeMoss. He is survived by: his father Claborn Hess; and his children, Delores Whalen of Paris, Brenda Sue DeMoss of Paris, Bobby Hess of Paris and Philip Dwain Hess (Marilyn Collins) of Paris. He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
